As the mid year reports are finalized for June 2020, Florida Skyline Management continues to show growth and financial improvement year after year. As the company continues to add new communities to the Florida Skyline Management family, we want to welcome the new communities and remind the exitsing clients how much we appreciate the business. A special thanks to our accounting team that works with residents to make sure payments are in timely. Our new online payment portal is very successful and many residents are turning to it as the preferred payment option. As we work with everyone to agreed payments plan, courtesy late fee waivers for accounts in good standing and careful spending, we are very proud of the financial position the company and the clients are in despite the resulting financial duress due to the health crisis.

Florida Skyline Management using innovative technology is offering board meetings, vendor reviews and resident interviews and orientations through the new technology of video and phone conference calling. If you are in need of a face to face meeting of the past, the new technology during the health crisis allows for business to continue without the risk of not following the current CDC and government health advisories. Tallahassee, Florida - The State of Florida has issued a mandatory stay at home order effective at 12:01am on Thursday, April 2, 2020. This means effectively immediately all offices for Florida Skyline Management will be closed. Our on call staff will be answering the phones and providing emergency support for all residents at all communities. Please continue to take all safety precautions during this difficult time. As the world addresses and continues to prepare for the coronavirus (COVID-19), we first want to remind everyone to take all necessary precautions, with all their daily activities. Our staff will be here to assist to keep everyone informed of any announcements, cancellations, rescheduling and/or office hour changes. Please make sure that if you are attending a meeting, that the meeting is still on. Some meetings will move forward in small gatherings and some will be cancelled. Each community will make their own decisions. In addition, the on site management offices and our main office continues to remain open, subject to new events, as they warrant. Florida Skyline will reduce the online payment fee for echecks to $2.50 and will become effective on March 10, 2020. Although residents, will need to create a new login and re-set their online account, the savings is a way of saying thank you for making your payments timely. The current rate of $2.95 will be decreased to allow residents a savings for the convenience of paying online. We still offer ways to pay for free including mailing your coupon and check to the lockbox, paying via ACH Auto debit on the 1st of each month and utilizing your bank online bill pay web site to have them mail a check to our Miami processing center. Effective, March 10, 2020, Florida Skyline Management has partnered with Revo Pay to announce our new online payment platform. This exciting announcement will greatly benefit all of our residents as the new system will have many added features and will be more user friendly than our previous provider.
Florida Talk Real Estate, the one stop real estate shop, has invited Florida Skyline Management to join their esteem panel in the meeting of the minds investment strategy program on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 12:00pm in West Palm Beach. This free event, designed to help educate real estate investors, will be broadcast on youtube and will include experts in the banking and finance world, mortgage and title experts, maintenance and inspection technicians and the property management division of our company. The program will run from 1pm - 4pm at the Keller Williams Conference Center located at 2005 Vista Parkway, Suite 100, West Palm Beach, FL 33411. As Florida Skyline Management continues to be amongst the lowest in the state when it comes to fees for processing, bank survey, questionaires, estoppels and rush fees, the company announced today that effective, January 1, 2020 all bank surveys and questionaires will increase from $50 to $100. This increase still ranks Florida Skyline Management among the lowest in the state for all management companies. In addition, the bank can expedite the form(s) to be completed via the rush fee process for an additional $50. The rush fee (allows for 48 hour processing) will remain at $50 for 2020. Thank you again to all the banks who particpated in our information gathering and for your excellent feedback to the processing center.
As the 2020 budget season comes to an end, the community 2020 budgets are approved and we excited to announce the 2020 payment options. Please be on the look out for the 2020 Association coupon payments that are en route to your home. The packets and coupon books will arrive in the beginning of December, in plenty of time for your January 1, 2020 payment. If you are on ACH Direct debit, you will not be receiving payment coupons. All other payment options are available for 2020 including the web site, the phone, online banking bill pay or dropping off at the on site office if your community has one.
Please make sure that if you have changed your mailing address, you notify the property manager assigned to your community. Florida Skyline Management is seeking qualified maintenance technician for full time work in Palm Beach and Broward County. Technician should be eligble for work with proper documentation, valid drivers license and experience in regular maintenance activies including, painting, pressure cleaning, janitorial, basic plumbing, basic electrical and other related tasks.
