As we prepare to start the 2nd quarter of 2021, Florida Skyline Management is announcing their largest growth in the history of the company. As the holiday season kicks off with Thanksgiving weekend 2020, Florida Skyline Management is announcing their 2020 holiday schedule. On Wednesday, November 25, 2020 the office will be closing at 12:00pm noon and will re-open on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 9:00am. On site offices will resume their regular schedule on Monday, November 30, 2020, but all offices will be closed to allow time for the staff to enjoy the holiday weekend. All phones will be forwarded to the on call emergency line for immediate assistance. In addition, an on call manager with customer relations will be checking emails an replying as needed.
During the Winter Holiday season, the office will be closing on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 5:00pm and will re-open on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 9:00am. In addition, the staff will close the office on Thursday, December 31st at 12:00pm noon and re open on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 9:00am. Please check with your community manager for any specific needs, but all on site offices will remain closed during these dates. As we head to the final two months of 2020, the community association 2021 budget meetings are wrapping up. The property managers are working with the printers and the accounting staff to prepare the mailings for the 2021 coupons and payment option packages. Florida Skyline Management will continue to offer the same 6 ways to pay. The old fashioned coupon books are available and will be sent to all owners around the end of November. In addition, we offer complimentary ACH direct debit on the 1st of each month. Those that are on ACH now do not need to do anything for 2021 even if their dues change amounts. Anyone wishing to set that up, please send in the ACH form and voided check. We also collect payments in our Miami processing center by anyone who mails a check with their coupon or without it. Please make sure that you include your account number on the memo portion or if you are using your banks online bill pay, please add that to vendor profile. We also offer a way to pay through our website by clicking on the Make a Payment button on the home page and following the prompts. If you have auto pay setup on the web site and your dues change, you must login and make the change in amount. The final two ways include being allowed to make a payment over the phone or even hiring our courier to pick up the check. If you need any assistance with setting up your Association payments, please call the office, Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5pm. Thank you to everyone for your timely payments.

Florida Skyline Management's accounting department has announced the 2021 Budget Meeting schedule and the proposed budgets for all community associations. By now, all the Board of Directors are in receipt of their respective community proposed 2021 budget for the community. Once the board reveiws the budget and the amounts for each owner to pay, the management company will mail a copy via US mail to the address of record for each owner. If you wish to receive a copy of the budget and/or notice by email, please request this and our customer relations team will quickly respond for you as well. As we prepare for the upcoming budget season, we are working hard to keep all the Association dues down, by negotiating vendor contracts, bidding our projects and reducing all unnecessary costs. There are some areas that cannot be helped like insurance and utilities increasing across the region. We want to give everyone enough notice to prepare for the meeting. The 2021 mailing of the coupons will again take place in November. We will continue to offer the 6 ways to pay and if you are on ACH you will not need to do anything. If you pay from your bank online bill pay or through our website, please login and correct the amount in time for the January 1, 2021 payment.

As the mid year reports are finalized for June 2020, Florida Skyline Management continues to show growth and financial improvement year after year. As the company continues to add new communities to the Florida Skyline Management family, we want to welcome the new communities and remind the exitsing clients how much we appreciate the business. A special thanks to our accounting team that works with residents to make sure payments are in timely. Our new online payment portal is very successful and many residents are turning to it as the preferred payment option. As we work with everyone to agreed payments plan, courtesy late fee waivers for accounts in good standing and careful spending, we are very proud of the financial position the company and the clients are in despite the resulting financial duress due to the health crisis.

As the world addresses and continues to prepare for the coronavirus (COVID-19), we first want to remind everyone to take all necessary precautions, with all their daily activities. Florida Skyline will reduce the online payment fee for echecks to $2.50 and will become effective on March 10, 2020. Although residents, will need to create a new login and re-set their online account, the savings is a way of saying thank you for making your payments timely. The current rate of $2.95 will be decreased to allow residents a savings for the convenience of paying online. We still offer ways to pay for free including mailing your coupon and check to the lockbox, paying via ACH Auto debit on the 1st of each month and utilizing your bank online bill pay web site to have them mail a check to our Miami processing center. Effective, March 10, 2020, Florida Skyline Management has partnered with Revo Pay to announce our new online payment platform. This exciting announcement will greatly benefit all of our residents as the new system will have many added features and will be more user friendly than our previous provider.

As Florida Skyline Management continues to be amongst the lowest in the state when it comes to fees for processing, bank survey, questionaires, estoppels and rush fees, the company announced today that effective, January 1, 2020 all bank surveys and questionaires will increase from $50 to $100. This increase still ranks Florida Skyline Management among the lowest in the state for all management companies. In addition, the bank can expedite the form(s) to be completed via the rush fee process for an additional $50. The rush fee (allows for 48 hour processing) will remain at $50 for 2020. Thank you again to all the banks who particpated in our information gathering and for your excellent feedback to the processing center.
As the 2020 budget season comes to an end, the community 2020 budgets are approved and we excited to announce the 2020 payment options. Please be on the look out for the 2020 Association coupon payments that are en route to your home. The packets and coupon books will arrive in the beginning of December, in plenty of time for your January 1, 2020 payment. If you are on ACH Direct debit, you will not be receiving payment coupons. All other payment options are available for 2020 including the web site, the phone, online banking bill pay or dropping off at the on site office if your community has one.
Please make sure that if you have changed your mailing address, you notify the property manager assigned to your community.
